I love DEVONthink because it's seriously good at indexing and storing stuff. On the other hand, I love the Mac's Finder because it's always right there and available to every app all the time.

So some days I want to keep everything in DEVONthink and some days I prefer Finder. Switching between the two should be simple but I find it to cause friction.

Tonight I'll be thinking about how I might use DEVONthink differently so that things are "closer" to me.
